Set 8

Posted on January 13, 2012

I didn’t forget….I’ve just had other cute things to show lately :) .  Here’s another set, the “rustic red barnwood”.  We got this just before Christmas this year and as can see it made an adorable Christmas set but it’s also a great set for girls or boys and photographs beautifully!

Little Miss Harper came to see me today and oh.my.word.  She was SO tiny, only five pounds!  As tiny as all of my things are it’s amazing the difference a couple of pounds makes with newborns!  I just finished up the session and I’m headed to dinner with friends in a bit so here’s just a few to tide mom over until the rest are ready!

Exciting news!!

Posted on October 5, 2011

Hi everyone!  I’m writing with exciting news!  My 2011 calendar is back open!  Due to the high demand that I can’t even try to wrap my head around, I’ve continued to do all that I can to be accommodating.

As of May, my calendar has been booked solid and I’ve been going non-stop ever since.  While brainstorming for 2012, I have decided to make a few changes so that I can be as available as possible while maintaining a highest standard of business at an affordable cost to my clients.  While doing so much planning I realized just how much help I’ve received by hiring an assistant and decided to take that one step further.  By taking full advantage of the help that I have, I have been able to work on a plan to implement our great ideas for next year into this year.  While not everything will be revealed now, I’m starting small and opening the calendar.  I’m also revealing a few other things so keep reading!
More Sessions:
Beginning today, I am scheduling sessions through the end of November.  Because I have a lot booked already, there are a few exceptions to keep in mind.  I’ve listed them below.  Also, be sure to check the website for more scheduling details before calling or emailing the studio!
For October: Evenings and weekends are full, but daytime spots are flexible.  If you have a session booked already, and you would like to move it, just call me!

For November: Evenings are available, but limited.  Weekends are full.  Again, if you have a session booked already, and you would like to move it, just call!

On Location: the weather is quickly getting cold and the time change is just around the corner.  That being said, I can’t schedule anymore outdoor sessions, but the studio is up for grabs.  Remember, its tiny in there…built for babies and kids…so full on family sessions won’t work so well.  However, I am willing to squeeze mom and dad into one or two photos if we can work it out and you don’t mind being cozy!
Package Adjustments:
All full and newborn sessions now include a set of 4×6 prints!

Note: this package adjustment took place beginning July of 2011 for all sessions booked on or after July 1st 2011.

Spring/Summer Booking update…

Posted on March 3, 2011

I thought it might be easier to lay it out here what’s left for Spring/Summer :)

March, April, May, June, July

Completely booked

August

Booking for the week of August 14th

I know it seems really crazy that I’m booked so far out but please keep in mind I’m a one woman show (doesn’t anyone want to come work for me for free lol?).  Because I only take a limited number of sessions per week my days and times are flexible.  I like to be able to keep things flexible in case of bad weather or sick kids etc.

If you’re expecting a newborn please call me and I’ll put you on my due date list.  I leave space in my schedule each week to “squeeze” a newborn in, if you are not on my due date list I cannot guarantee that I’ll be able to fit you in last minute.  Having a list of due dates helps me be prepared and plan my schedule accordingly.

I’ve had several people asking for a referral if I’m booked for the date you wanted….here are just a few local QC photographers that are in the same genre as I am and that do high quality work.   I know you’ll be in good hands!

Cousins! (Quad City Family Photographer)

Posted on September 5, 2010

Don’t forget to take advantage of the September half session special….book a session back to back with a friend and have your half session outside instead of in the studio!  This cute bunch used their special with family and by having the sessions overlapping we did a couple of cousin shots!  See lots more of them on the facebook fan page!

Poor Tyler, every time we had a session scheduled it rained!  But three weeks later we got a break in the weather and not only was it not raining it wasn’t hot either!  We started with a half session inside and then took his baby (that would be the fancy schmancy red car there) outside for some pictures in the District.  See more of his session on the facebook fan page!

Samantha (Quad City Senior Photographer)

A few weeks ago I put out a fresh face call for one High School Senior boy and girl.  Samantha was the first girl to respond so she came in for a free studio half session (check out the pricing page above for details on half sessions).  Here are the results of her session!  And of course you can see more from her session on the facebook fan page!

BRRRRRRR!!!  What kind of May weather IS this!?  Think Hawaii is what I kept telling them.  I think it worked because poor Ashley doesn’t look near as cold as she was.  How beautiful is she?  See more of this session of the facebook fan page!

Thanks to the rain this is one of the fastest senior sessions I’ve ever done.  But Justin was a great sport and carried a leather chair down alleys (quickly) and smiled fast.  Just as we put the chairs back in the van the rain poured.  It didn’t stop us from getting a great variety though!  To see more check out the Jennifer Jayne Photography fan page on facebook!
