My least favorite part of my job is saying no…and I’ve been saying that A LOT lately!  This year, in an effort to keep the crazy back, we’re only booking three months out at a time and while it’s nice to not have my whole year booked solid… I’m still booking up as soon as I open the next month up!  Which means I’m getting lots of sad emails and phone calls from moms desperately trying to get in!

 

While I can’t open up more sessions at this time (as much as I truly wish I was super woman and could) I’ve decided to add in a morning of mini sessions once a week for the month of May.  These will be done exactly like the themed mini sessions we do once a month however they will just be on some of the more popular backdrops we have.

 

These are perfect for those of you that really wanted a full session and couldn’t get in.  Maybe you have a baby with a milestone, a child’s birthday, or just a cute new outfit!

 

*Dates and times will vary and are listed below.

*Each date will have two backdrops available to choose from, both will be set up ready to go and you will choose ONE

*Mini sessions are 15 minutes each,  for children ages 3months-12 years, one outfit, up to three children (NO ADULTS), include 5-7 full resolution images with print release.  Cost is 65.00 and is due at the time of booking (no exceptions).

*You’re welcome to any of my fun props such as tutus, ties, petti rompers, headbands and hats

So I’m getting ready tonight to speak for Career day tomorrow at Edison Jr. High. and I was pulling some pictures together to show them some of the things I use and thought maybe I’d share with you too.  I’ve been so blessed to be chosen by some wonderful vendors who have showered me with adorable hats and headbands in exchange for pictures to use in their etsy stores.  Sometimes you’ll see me do a model call and that usually means I got a really big box of goodies and need to work through them quickly, other times I’ll use them little by little in sessions (fyi pictures are never sent to vendors without a release from parents ).  I’ve received so many beautiful things over the last year that I’ve started to call what started out as a tiny bin as my wall of blessings.  Not very good detail shots but if you’re coming in for a baby session I now have over 100 hats for you to choose from and last count of hair accessories was over 60…and that was awhile ago.  I also keep a good stash of ruffle rompers and tutus on hand as well as some cute ties for boys!

Just thought I’d add a few more sets today!  If you’re planning your session with me and want to see what backdrops and sets are available for your session just go to the top of the page here and hover your mouse over “categories” and then choose backdrops/sets and all the posts with the different pictures will come up.  You can then scroll down through the posts and see them all.  There is also an album on them all together on the Facebook fan page.  This isn’t all of them, some of them are new and I don’t have a lot of pictures yet and others I just haven’t had time to go through and put them together yet.  This is a good start and should help with your clothing choices!

Here’s a look at our February Mini sessions, the theme was “Little Bookworm”.  I LOVE the way this set turned out.  It’s great for all ages and is available now for any full sessions

The creamy fabric backdrop is just perfect for naked babies and outfits in neutrals, creams and whites!

 

 

I didn’t forget….I’ve just had other cute things to show lately .  Here’s another set, the “rustic red barnwood”.  We got this just before Christmas this year and as can see it made an adorable Christmas set but it’s also a great set for girls or boys and photographs beautifully!

Today’s set is for the girls!  This is my blue paisley that is probably my number one request for little girls!

 

Today’s set “pastel shutters” made it’s debut last Easter for the baby chicks but I LOVE the pastel tones in it and use it all the time!

Today’s set is the “grey damask”.  Beautiful for maternities, families, and dressed up little girls!

Today’s feature set is the “white wood” set.  I LOVE this set and was thrilled to pieces when my hubby told me he stopped and picked up the wood when he saw some people taking an old barn down!  It’s very versatile and works great for boys or girls!
