Almost forgot!

Phew…what a crazy weekend!  How many days do they say it takes to make a new habit?  Whatever it is I’m not there yet with this blogging thing…I was in bed drifting off to sleep when I remembered I hadn’t blogged yet!  But…the day isn’t over yet so I decided to randomly choose a folder and I came up with this sweet little guy from the end of Summer :)

I thought I’d do a little vendor spotlight….I’ll have an interview with the owner of LGC at some point but if you’re looking for some pretties for your little girls to wear for Christmas or to give as gifts her headbands are GORGEOUS!!  Check out the etsy store HERE!

This little guy’s mom said no props really just classic newborn pictures.  I haven’t heard that request in years so we had fun choosing some colors that would match his room and classic newborn we did :) .

She did bring a few things to match his nursery decor and I LOVE the way these turned out!

No fun :(

No fun blog post today….computer is being worked on which made me all itchy and crabby to be apart from it but it should be working faster than my brain when it’s all done which is what I need to get me though all these Christmas sessions!  We’ll be back to fun blogs tomorrow :)

We are half way through our Christmas sessions and first up is Jackson….the most laid back two year old boy I’ve ever met!  Here is the “cozy Christmas cabin” set I mentioned last month and I have to say I LOVE the way it turned out!  Get ready to see lots more Christmas cuties in the following weeks!

Annabelle 6 months

Posted on November 15, 2011

Here’s another sort of before and after.  The funny thing is I had two six month sessions this week and both asked me to have the babies in my little white box thingy and both parents were so surprised when they saw the size of the box.  With a newborn in it it looks very roomy but only newborns will fit in it!!  Here’s Annabelle as a newborn and then at her six month session, look how much she’s grown!  She brought all of her special teddy bears back but this time they got to be in the basket!

We got some with mom and dad too…funny they look about the same :)

She made a very cute angel …and a VERY excited one too

Then she was hungry so we gave her some Christmas lights to eat lol…

TOES!!!

I have no words lol….seriously is he not the cutest little caterpillar ever!?

Umm…if I were Max’s mommy I would never get anything done because I would never put him down.  Seriously…do you see those eyes?  Max came in to capture that last little bit of brand new-ness before he turns into a full fledged baby.  He did very well pretending to be a newborn in a few and then showed us how strong he was by holding his head up!

And then when he was done we got a few of big brother who is every bit as cute!

I love doing my mini sessions but they go so fast that when I have new clients for them I just don’t get a chance to really meet everyone and so sometimes when a client comes back for a full session it takes a minute to jog my memory.  Well…it only took a second when I saw big brother here.  He came for my baby chick mini sessions and was NOT a fan lol.  He was so funny with them and was concerned when he brought his new sister to meet me that the chicks would still be there!  Newborn sessions are a little long and we brought out my little boy for a bit to play with him, he was thrilled since that doesn’t usually happen and he keeps asking me when that good little boy will be back to play again :) .

We started with big brother while baby sister had a little snack…he was quite the poser!

Then we got all girly :)

This new little family came to see me first for maternity pictures and then were back in the blink of an eye for newborn pictures!  It’s fun to incorporate special things into the maternity session like ultrasound pictures or since they had an October due date mom brought little pumpkins and then used them again at the newborn session!

And for a different kind of before and after I *think* it was this mommy that asked me if newborns were easier to edit because there isn’t as much to do so I thought it would be fun to show a before/after of a newborn picture.  Newborns actually tend to come in a rainbow of colors (yellow/jaundiced to bright red to in between and blotchy).

I absolutely LOVE her expression here!
