So I’ve got a sick computer on my hands and after jumping through a million hoops we ended up with a corrupt hard drive and had to order a new one.  I’m VERY behind on posting pictures to the facebook fan page and if you’ve had a session recently and are wondering why I haven’t shown you off not to worry they’re coming!  I know everyone loves to see their pictures on facebook but my computer has morphed into a snail and it’s painfully slow so my focus is just getting sessions done on time.  Hopefully we’ll be good to go by the end of the week but in the mean time here is ONE picture from a sweetie that came to see me yesterday.  I’ll just be showing one picture each day on here until we’re back up to full speed again as I don’t have 500 hours to try to prepare files for the web lol.

Every year I get lots (and lots and lots) of calls for families wanting pictures for their Christmas cards.  My studio is TINY and I keep shopping and filling it with new things…which makes it to where I can hardly turn around lol!  The sets we build are geared for babies and kids so when I get a family I always tell them all we can really do is close and cozy.  Close and cozy worked well for this family

Olivia has been to see me lots of times and her mommy always brings the cutest things!  This time we did some Christmas and then mom brought the cutest little tutu set and a new hat from Made With Delight!

I’m a really bad writer and I would love to post some beautiful thankful post that brings a tear to your eye….but alas I type like I talk and I don’t tend to make people tear up lol.  SO…just know that I’m beyond thankful for the business God has blessed me with and all of the amazing people I get to meet by just doing what I love.  I’ve said it before but one of my favorite things of this job is watching little people and their families grow.  Thank you for choosing me to record your precious family moments!  I’ve gotten away from showing “sneak peeks” just because I have so many sessions to process and I figure everyone would rather have their pictures on time than have me stop and look through and find some to show off.  It takes forever to do so until I slow down I’m showing pictures after the session when they’re all done.  BUT I thought I’d show a sneak peek this morning of a client that has had me cracking up and talking about her every day since she was here.  She’s three….which means she asks a million questions.  It doesn’t really phase me as I’ve had three three year olds myself and currently have a niece and nephew at that age.  I don’t even know how she knew I had a cat but she got off on a cat tangent and asked me 100 questions all about my “tat” and then her final question was does my “tat” let me brush her and I said no and I may have misunderstood her but I thought she then said that her “tat” likes to be brushed.  So playing along I said well how do you get her to sit still so you can brush her.  To which I got the “you are so crazy look” and she said “I don’t have a tat” (silly me!)!  Cracked.me.up!  I miss those crazy little conversations with my kids and I loved talking to her…obviously I was a little out of practice at tracking with the three year old train of though conversations!  We now refer to our cat as “tat”.  Anyway, here she is and one with her beautiful mama and sister!

I’m hoping to be caught up enough tomorrow to finally post all the recent sessions I’ve been doing but I’m short a day this week with Thanksgiving so I played the “click on a random folder and see who’s in there” game and found sweet little Avah from a late spring/early summer-ish
